Ntshangase handed himself at the Sandton Police Station.
The three were arrested by security guards on 28 March 2008 while trying to flee from a Kelvin home where they had robbed a maid of a cellphone and cigarettes. The owner of the place reacted to a commotion in the house and found the maid tied up.
He contacted the guards who arrived, searched the place and apprehended the three as they tried to scale a wall. All three were granted bail which Ntshangase, and the accomplices still at large, skipped until Ntshangase handed himself in.
