ALEXANDRA – Alex News praised for successful launch of Alex's marathon.
The recent launch of Alex’s own annual fun walk marathon featured in Alex News the publication praise from its organisers.
The event was hosted on 19 August at Altrek Sports Complex by it founders non-profit organisation Creative Minds. It drew hundreds of runners and walkers of all ages who the braved the nippy weather to complete the 5km route.
In a statement, the organisation thanked the paper for its support of the event.

“We appreciated your unfailing dedication to informing the public about the event with all its last-minute snags and worries of something failing,” read the statement. “Your commitment allowed us to anticipate every contingency. We were honoured to associate with the paper from preparatory phase and are impressed with your level of seriousness in supporting local incentives.”
