ALEXANDRA – A body of a newborn baby was found dumped in 3rd Avenue on London Road on Friday.

Police are investigating a case of concealment of birth after a body of a newborn baby was found at a dumping site on London Road on Friday morning.

According to police spokesperson Captain Allie Kodisang, Pikitup workers cleaning the area noticed something that looked like a baby in a box.

He said the baby was dead when it was found.

Kodisang urged anyone with information to contact the police station.
