CCTV allegedly nails thieving brother
ALEXANDRA – Man reports that his brother broke into his car.
CCTV camera footage assisted in the identification of a man currently being investigated by Alex police for theft out of his brother’ motor vehicle.
Spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Captain Allie Kodisang said the suspect alerted the victim of the incident on 27 November, early in the morning. The victim had parked his Mazda 323, in his yard on 15th Avenue the previous night.
When the suspect woke him up, he asked another brother to check the camera footage at the home, and allegedly saw the suspect with an accomplice breaking the vehicle window and stealing a subwoofer, speaker and radio which were fitted in the vehicle.
It wasn’t specified by the time of reporting if the suspect had been arrested.
