Police clamp down on holiday crime
YEOVILLE – The Yeoville police managed to make some impressive arrests between 27 December and 4 January.
The Yeoville police made a number of arrests between 27 December last year and 4 January this year.
Spokesperson for the Yeoville Police Station Captain Sifiso Mabizela said they arrested several suspects committing various offences from business robbery to common assault.
The arrests are as follows:
1 for business robbery
1 for common robbery
4 for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm
3 for common assault
2 for driving under the influence
2 for possession of marijuana
1 for malicious damage of property
1 for use of a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent
1 for intimidation.
