ALEXANDRA – Hijackers wanted for attempted murder of police officers.
Alex police are looking for three suspects for attempted murder after they shot at officers who spotted them in a motor vehicle that had been reported hijacked.
Police spokesperson Captain Allie Kodisang said the officers noticed the vehicle, a Chevrolet with three occupants, parked on 4th Avenue at about 10pm on 25 January.
When they approached and introduced themselves to the occupants, one of them fired shots at the officers who returned fire. No one was injured and the suspects fled into the crowded shacks.
