Woman allegedly raped by two men in Alex
ALEXANDRA – Acquaintance leaves Alex woman with unknown men who allegedly raped her.
A woman was allegedly raped in a house on 15th Avenue in Alex on 15 February by two suspects who were told to guard her by a man who brought her to the house.
Alex Police Station spokesperson, Captain Allie Kodisang said the victim and a male friend were walking on 10th Avenue when they met two unknown men who joined them without their consent.

In the process, a third man known to the woman joined the group.
When walking on 12th Avenue, the victim felt hot and removed her jacket, however, the third man put it back on her and told her that she was now his girlfriend.
He asked her to accompany him to his 15th Avenue home, but the victim refused. This infuriated him and he reacted violently prompting the woman’s companion to run away and the other two men to leave the group.

The man allegedly dragged her by her hair to his place where two other men were present and drinking beer. The man asked the two men to guard her while he had to attend affairs elsewhere. When he left, the two men who were drinking allegedly took turns raping her. Afterwards, they ordered her to dress and one of them accompanied her to her residence and allegedly hit her as she entered her gate.
Kodisang said the matter is under investigation and no arrests have been made as yet.
