Caught red-handed
ALEXANDRA – Bed sheet thief sentenced to three years.
An Alex man (40) who caught red-handed with stolen items at a Wendywood home was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment by the Alex Magistrates’ Court.
Sifiso Nkosi was caught by the homeowner as he tried to leave the house carrying a plastic bag filled with clothes and bed sheets. The owner pressed a panic button alerting security guards who arrived before Nkosi could escape. He was arrested and admitted to the crime. The items were returned to the victim.
