A man arrested for drunken driving and corruption was sentenced in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court to three months’ imprisonment or pay a fine of R400.
Brian Mnguni (38) was found guilty by Magistrate Renier Boshoff, assisted by state prosecutor Lufuno Maphiri, following his arrest on 15 March along the M1 North freeway.

He was granted bail of R2 000 which he failed to pay and was remanded in custody until the hearing and sentencing.
