Defy develops future soccer stars in Joburg
JOBURG – Defy to develop future soccer stars in conjunction with Spanish side FC Barcelona.
Appliance manufacturing company Defy in partnership with Spanish football giants, FC Barcelona will give three of the country’s young soccer stars an opportunity to sharpen their football skills in Spain.
Former Kaizer Chiefs captain and Bafana Bafana defender Jimmy Tau is spearheading coaching clinics in search of three youngsters between the ages of 10 to 13 at different schools in Durban, East London and Johannesburg.
The three will get the opportunity to fly to Spain and watch Barcelona play. They will also be flown to Johannesburg to spend the day with Jimmy Tau and experience behind the scenes at SuperSport.
