JOBURG – DSTV and the African Diaspora Forum celebrate Africa’s culture and vibrancy through sport.

Social cohesion and sport come together in the #ConnectToGreatness campaign – a campaign spearheaded by Africa’s largest Pay-TV provider, DSTV.

The campaign anticipates mass support for the African Teams in the 2018 Fifa World Cup by ensuring that subscribers of DSTV’s Compact package have access to all 64 live games.

As Africa Month celebrations come to an end, the campaign showcases soccer’s roots in Africa with African soccer giants Nigeria, Egypt and Senegal anticipated to leave a mark in Russia at the world cup.

The Pay-TV provider has since built a relationship with the African Diaspora Forum (ADF), an organisation that promotes social cohesion through dialogue and sport, which has seen them take part in Africa Day celebrations where gift bags containing soccer items were given away.

The day’s activities included a colourful and vibrant parade through the streets of Berea which showcased the beauty of all African countries.
