City council calls for proposals
ALEXANDRA – COJ's call for proposals
The Joburg City Council is calling for project proposals from non-profit organisations to work with certain sectors.
The programmes will focus on:
- Elderly
- Young women
- Peer educators to debrief sex workers
- Youth development
- Persons living with disabilities
- Skills development
- Migrant language lab.
Only pre-approved organisations will be requested to submit a short outline of the services offered, and a quotation when the service is required. Payments will be calculated per citizen served and made between one and three months after satisfactory delivery of the service.
Application forms and programme specifications are available at the Social Development Regional offices or can be downloaded on www.joburg.org.za. The IDP can be downloaded from the City’s website, www.joburg.za.
The closing date for applications is 2pm on 27 August 2018. A compulsory briefing session will be at 9am to 12am on 17 August, 158 Civic Boulevard Street, Metro Centre Braamfontein A-Level Lecture Theatre. Incomplete or inaccurate submissions will be disqualified.
