AmaGupta enjoys positive reception from music lovers
ALEXANDRA – Tsutsumani up-and-coming Dj to drop his Extended Play (EP) later this year.
A 22-year-old up-and-coming DJ, Pfunzo Tshililo, known as DJ Master P from Tsutsumani Ext 7, has released his first single called AmaGupta (The Guptas).
Master P was born in Venda, Limpopo province and moved to Johannesburg at the age of four. He described his music as a combination of hip-hop and kwaito which appeals to different age groups both young and old.
Master P said his recently released track AmaGupta, on which he worked with Katise Mbulelo, also known as Scelo in e-TV soapie Scandal, has received a positive reaction from the public and music lovers in general.
“I’ve dropped AmaGupta a few weeks ago with my production company called Billz Production and it has received a positive reaction from the public. The track is being downloaded on different music platforms almost every day,” he said.
Master P, who also works as a professional photographer, said music and art are his passion and he has no doubt that his extended play (EP) which will be released later this year will get the same reception as AmaGupta did.
“I am currently in the studio working on my EP which will be released in November this year and I can assure my fans that it will add taste to their festive season. Every time I do a song I make sure that it’s worth listening to and this is what I’m doing with my EP.”
