Bail for woman accused of defrauding her employer
ALEXANDRA – Female in year-long fraud investigation.
A woman was granted bail by the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court pending further investigation for allegedly defrauding her employer.
She is suspected to be a member of a fraud syndicate and was arrested in February last year.
She allegedly deviated R447 450 in January which was supposed to be paid to another company for services rendered, into her own account.
When the company queried about the delayed payment, investigations traced the payment into her account leading to the woman’s arrest.
