Joburg Mayor to release JMPD’s April performance report
JOHANNESBURG – JMPD’s April performance to be revealed.
Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba together with the MMC for Public Safety Michael Sun will release the monthly Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department’s (JMPD) performance statistics on 21 May.
The focus will be on April’s performance and the major successes the department achieved. The top crimes per region, speed enforcement, and the outcome of various Buya Mthetho operations will also be revealed.
“These monthly presentations are a necessary evaluation for the department to remain accountable and transparent to the residents as well as report on efforts made towards improving the safety and security of the City of Johannesburg,” said the City of Johannesburg in the statement.
