Members of the Alexandra Police Station arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death.
Station spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatjie said, “Today on 29 May a man aged 28 was stabbed and died on his way to the clinic. He was stabbed by his 32-year-old girlfriend who accused him of sleeping out every time he got paid at work and not supporting his two-month-old baby. The incident occurred around 2pm.”
The suspect was remanded in custody after she briefly appeared in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court on 31 May.
