Joburg Child Welfare celebrate 110 years of care
JO'BURG – The organisation invites the public to join them on 19 July for an evening of dance, food and entertainment in celebration of their milestone.
Johannesburg Child Welfare will host a fundraising ball in celebration of Mandela Day on 19 July. The event will be emceed by a special guest, and will include dinner and entertainment for the evening.
The non-profit organisation has been looking after abused, abandoned, orphaned and neglected children in and around the greater Johannesburg area for 110 years. All proceeds from the ball will aid in the care and protection of vulnerable and neglected children.
The event will be held at Thaba Eco Hotel, Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve in Kibler Park. Tickets are R1 000 per person and the dress code is black tie.
The event is set to begin at 5.30pm for 6pm on 19 July.
