CPF official arrested for alleged sexual harassment
ALEXANDRA - A Community Policing Forum Official is in hot water with the law after a woman accused him of sexually harassing her.
An officer of the Community Policing Forum was arrested on 20 September for allegedly sexually harassing a woman.
The 24-year-old officer who could not be named, was escorted from his office at the Alexandra police station in handcuffs. Warrant Officer, Moses Maphakela confirmed that a case of sexual harassment had been opened.
“The officer has been arrested and we shall reveal more details after his court appearance,” said Maphakela.
The officer will appear at the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court.
