ALEXANDRA – The Alexandra Magistrates' Court sentenced a Glenvista woman to seven years' imprisonment for defrauding a bank.

Palesa Nkhetoa (27) was found guilty for the offence committed on 6 February. She illegally used someone’s bank account statements and work payslip to acquire a R100 000 personal loan from another bank. She will serve a four-year prison term after three years were suspended for five years.
