Two Alex men murdered separately on 1 September
ALEXANDRA – Two lose lives to wanted murders.
The Alexandra Police Station is investigating the murder of two men in separate incidents which occurred in the township on 1 September.
According to the station spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji, the first victim, a 25-year-old, was stabbed to death in the shoulder by a colleague. The two were with the accused’s girlfriend, drinking at a tavern in 7th Avenue when the accused stabbed the victim as he tried to stop him from assaulting the woman. The victim was taken to a clinic where he was certified dead on arrival. The accused was arrested and is pending court appearance.
The second victim was attacked, robbed and shot dead the same day by unknown and wanted suspects at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Vincent Tshabalala Road.
