Alex High School grade 12 learners receive a mental boost ahead of their final examination

ALEXANDRA – 17-year-old South African motivational speaker and reigning Miss Star International Kimberly Malope told her peers that the nice times never end.

Alexandra High School matric learners received a ‘mental injection’ to boost their mental strength as they brace themselves for their final examinations that commence on 23 October.

This was after a non-profit youth organisation, Kuzodlula Motivation Tour hosted a motivational talk at the school aimed at encouraging learners to focus on their books and the positives of life.

Motivational speaker and reigning Miss Star International, Kimberly Malope (17) told her peers that the nice times never end and will be there waiting for them after the examinations.

“This is a very crucial time in your lives and as Grade 12 learners,” she told the matrics. “You must use the remaining time before your exams wisely and also be careful with whom you spend your time with. Don’t wait for others to tell you what you can and cannot do. You must learn to be your own motivation and surround yourself with positive people. The sky is the limit out there and everything is possible for those who believe in themselves.”

School deputy principal Mzamani Chauke applauded the organisation for its work and urged the learners to learn from their peers who have done great things in their lives and in society.

Chauke said his school was ready for them this year’s Grade 12 final examinations and they were hoping to attain a 100 per cent pass rate.
