“After 19 years in the music industry, I am really blessed, excited and honored to be nominated and recognised as an artist. This is an honour for both of us, as we have worked together for only a year. The song that we were nominated for is titled Imali Yomuntu which is the second track of our recently released Extended Play (EP),” said Mondlana.

“Being nominated for this award means a lot for us as a newly formed group though we’ve been in the music industry for decades doing our solo projects. I am hopeful that the community of Alexandra will support us by voting for Imali Yomuntu for the best collaboration song.”

Mondlana added that it was her turn to fly the flag of Alexandra high in the music industry and follow in the footsteps of local creatives such as the late Nkululeko ‘Flabba’ Habedi, Condry Ziqubu and others.
