Local model and aspiring actor aims to reach number one spot in the Face for Africa competition

ALEXANDRA – Molwele also appealed to the parents to support their children who are currently writing school exams and not judge them when they don't make it this year.

Model and aspiring actor Ryan Molwele (21) has urged the community of Alexandra to continue voting for him in the Face of Arts Africa international and national brand ambassador search competition. Voting closes on 24 January next year.

Molwele who has made into the top 100 of the competition said, “I was surprised by the support I received from local people. Some of them voted for me even though they don’t know me.

“Yes, I do work with the community of Alexandra in different projects but most of the people who voted for me are people I don’t even know. This means a lot to me and I will once again ask them to continue voting until 24 January which is the date voting will close. This is our opportunity to place Alexandra on the map.”

Molwele also appealed to the parents to support their children who are currently writing school exams and not judge them when they don’t make it this year.

“The best support that my brothers and sisters who are currently writing exams need is the one that comes from their parents and family members.

“Parents should also support their children in a profession of their choice and not choose for them. Every child has his or her dream profession but you will find our parents telling us what to study.”

To vote for Ryan Molwele, SMS 080 to 35701.
