Talent show rocks the crowd
ALEXANDRA - Students of the Alexandra campus of the Central Johannesburg College wowed the crowd with their talents.
Students of the Central Johannesburg College, Alexandra campus wowed the crowd with their talents at the campus’ talent show.
Hosted by Generations actor, Mandla Kaduka students modelled in the hope of becoming the next Mr & Miss Central Johannesburg College, Alexandra. The models were dressed by college students who designed the clothes while others applied the makeup.
The winners were Rantsane Nhlapo (king), Qumbelo Buntu (1st prince), Thabo Semelane (2nd prince), Charity Mashego (queen), Puseletso Thuso (1st princess) and Nosipho Nxiweni (2nd princess).
Portia Moabe won an award for best clothing production and the best makeup accolade went to Bonolo Tshabalala.
Organiser and chairperson of the college, Calvin Mabena said the event was a success. “The students enjoyed themselves and we plan to make it even bigger next year,” he said. Mabena said all the campuses would be involved in the Mr & Miss Central Johannesburg College to be held at Ellis Park on 26 October.
