Recovered car dealership items save man jail time
ALEXANDRA – Thieving youth's lucky escape.
An Alex youth was sentenced in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court to seven years’ imprisonment which was wholly suspended for five years for business break-in and theft.
Twenty-one-year old Tebogo Mphaka admitted guilt to the offence which he committed in January 2017 when he was 18-years old at an auto dealership in Marlboro.
He stole eight-vehicle batteries, a computer, exhaust system and a Range Rover cylinder head all worth R43 900. All the items were recovered.
