Missing person sought
ALEXANDRA - Police are looking for a man that has been missing since 28 February this year.
Alex police are looking for Philemon Xumayo, 49, who went missing from Westbank, Alexandra, on 28 February this year.
According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, Xumayo left his house at 6am without saying a word to his wife, Tsakane Maluleke. He left his identity document, clothes and other personal possessions.
In his heyday, Xumayo was a well-known soccer player in the 1980s in Alexandra. Police are appealing to anyone with information to report to Alex police station or call Sipho or Gugu on 084 018 0241 or 078 290 3087.
