MEC for Human Settlements to visit families who lost homes in #AlexFire
ALEX – 20 families in the Organic Market Informal Settlement lost their homes to a blaze in the early hours of Friday morning.
Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements, Urban Planning and COGTA, Lebogang Maile, will today visit the 20 families affected by a fire that raged through the Organic Market Informal Settlement in Alex in the early hours of Friday morning.
The fire burnt down shacks in its path.

Reports suggest that disaster management is already re-building the shacks that were burnt and families are being housed in nearby shelters for the time being.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
