ALEXANDRA - A neighbours' fight over a dustbin has landed them in court, with the case being postponed to 9 January next year.

A court case in which a woman was allegedly assaulted for using a neighbour’s rubbish bin has been postponed to 9 January.

The accused appeared in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court on 3 December and pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault. He was taken to court by his neighbour, Lindelani Zwane. The 26-year-old Zwane claimed she was sworn at and beaten up after her neighbour accused her of using his rubbish bin. As a result of the alleged assault, Zwane sustained injuries to her finger.
