Drunk boyfriend stabs lover
ALEXANDRA - A drunk Far Eastbank man in Extension 8 has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend.
The man is expected to appear in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court in connection with a charge of assault. The complainant, who lives in Martin Mabitsela Street in Extension 8, said her boyfriend arrived at her house drunk at around 10pm.
“I asked why he came so late and [why he was] drunk for that matter. I told him to go away as I wanted to sleep and at this juncture he produced a knife from his jacket and tried to stab me but I blocked him… he then kicked and punched me all over,” she claimed.
