Hubcap thieves doing the rounds
ALEXANDRA - Police in Alexandra are looking for wheel cap thieves.
Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said a man parked his car in the parking lot of the Pan Africa Shopping Mall on 18 February to pay his account at one of the shops. When he returned to his car, he discovered his hubcaps were missing.
He approached the security officers at the mall, wanting to view the footage to see the suspects but was asked to go to the police and open a case first. Maphakela said the suspects are unknown at this stage and police are still investigating.
