Security guard and friends beat up man
ALEXANDRA - A security guard and his two accomplices are being sought by Alexandra police for common assault.
It is alleged that the three men approached the victim at the Plaza Shopping Centre in 3rd Street Alexandra and without saying a word started beating him. The victim was taken to the security guard offices in the mall where the beating continued.
The victim said the three men took his cellphone to the value of R700.
Police have opened a case of common assault and are investigating.
