Two armed men make off with plasma TV
ALEXANDRA - Two gun toting men made off with a plasma television after threatening a Tsutsumani resident.
Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said the victim was woken up at 4am by a noise at his door. When he went to check he found the door was open and tried to close it. He noticed a firearm protruding through the opening and two men forced the door open and ordered him to lie on the floor. They ransacked the house and made off with a plasma television set and his two cellphones.
No shots were fired during the robbery and the items stolen were valued at about R10 000. Maphakela said the police were still hunting for the suspects.
