Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said they were looking for two South African men in their 30s who allegedly committed an armed robbery in the Sandringham area.

The men (pictured) are said to have approached a motorist in his driveway. Police say one was armed and that they demanded jewellery and money. The armed suspect allegedly fired a shot in the victim’s leg before they took off with the jewellery and other items. Police say both their hair and beards had been shaved off.

Another suspect is said to have hired two jumping castles from Bramley, Fourways and the Midrand areas driving a white Hyundai van with the false registration ZRV610GP. He claimed to live in Marlboro Gardens. He used a stolen ID with his own photograph. Anyone with information can contact Detective Sergeant Palesa Kae of Bramley police on 074 226 08 05.

Ntembeko Khwaza, born on 29 October 1994, (pictured), is accused of robbing a man of two cellphones and his wallet, and then stabbing him. The victim was rushed to the Edenvale Hospital where he died a few days later. The fatal stabbing took place on 29 November last year at about 8pm on the N3 highway Marlboro Drive offramp. A woman from the Eastern Cape, (pictured) is said to have committed a string frauds in Bramley, Germiston, Katlehong and Wynberg. In one incident, she produced a letter purporting to be from Civil Tech and addressed to Guiricic Holdings and Development, detailing a change of banking details. The company then deposited over R190 000 into this false account. The money was then withdrawn in the Nquthu and Pongola areas of KwaZulu Natal.

The ID book she was using is believed to be fraudulent as she allegedly removed the picture of the rightful owner and pasted her own in it. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Thwala on 073 450 1175.
