Boyfriend sneaks into house, steals cash and court order
ALEXANDRA - An Alex woman's boyfriend violated a court order and sneaked into her house and stole R800.
An Alex woman’s boyfriend violated a court order and sneaked into her house and stole R800.
According to police, the woman had left her three children sleeping in the house when she left early in the morning to go and sell her ‘magwinya’ (fat cakes) and fish.
When she returned later in the afternoon, one of her sons told her their stepfather had been in the house and searched their elder brother’s room.
She discovered that R800 was missing from the R1 000 she had left in the house. She also found that the protection order she had taken out against her boyfriend was also missing. She phoned the suspect and asked him about the missing items and what he was doing in her house.
He admitted being in the house ,but denied ever taking the money and the court order. Alex police are still investigating a case of theft and the boyfriend has not yet been arrested.
