On 27 April 1994, hundreds of thousands of South Africans queued for hours to cast their vote in this nation’s first free and fair election.

Reading through the newspaper coverage of the 1994 elections, it is clear that the nation was filled with both triumph and trepidation, not sure what to expect, but excited none-the-less.
