Woman stabs her neighbour with broken bottle for not disciplining her child
ALEXANDRA - A woman was stabbed on the head with a broken bottle for failing to discipline her child who was a nuisance to neighbours.
A woman was stabbed in the head with a broken bottle for failing to discipline her child who was a nuisance to neighbours.
The 34-year-old complainant of 3rd Avenue, claimed her female neighbour burst into her house and demanded that she discipline her child who was bothering her. She would not elaborate on the kind of nuisance caused by the child, despite a demand from the mother.
As the argument heated up the neighbour, who came holding a bottle in one hand, smashed it on the floor and then allegedly used the broken end to stab the complainant several times in the head. The complainant had to be treated at Alex clinic.
Alex police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said they had not yet made any arrests as they were still investigating the case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
