Crèche revamped on Mandela Day
ALEXANDRA - Tshepong Day care centre on 13 Avenue hosted members of the Sandton Shul (Synagogue) in partnership with FeedSA on Mandela day.
Tshepong day care centre on 13 Avenue received a facelift on Mandela Day through support from FeedSA and the Sandton synagogue.
The centre supports 150 children with early childhood development. Members of the synagogue painted the centre, and donated toys, books and blankets.
Harelle Issacs, co-ordinator of the synagogue said, “We try to do something annually for the underprivileged in honour of this great leader of world peace who we all have to emulate in our daily lives.”
