Detox December and welcome the New Year

Here are some top five detox remedies that you can use to flush out all the toxins from your body so that you can kick start the New Year on a good note, feeling fresh and ready to take on the world.
1. Nothing beats drinking water when you are trying to detox. A glass in the morning, before meals, after meals and right before you sleep should do the trick of cleansing your body.
2. Make sure your diet consists of lots of fruit and vegetables. You can switch it up and make a smoothie for variety, or make a fruit/vegetable salad. Ensure that you eat a lot of green fruit and vegetables because they contain chlorophyll, which helps in detoxification.
3. Mix one half cup of lemon juice, one tablespoon of honey and one teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a cup of hot water. Drink this daily for a few days or weeks, and the mixture will strengthen your immune system and cleanse your body.
4. Keep it green and healthy by drinking green tea at least three times a day. The tea will keep you regular and feeling light in your stomach.
5. Make a date with the steam room or close yourself inside the bathroom, run a hot bath and allow the steam from the hot water to fill the room to sweat out all those toxins.
