Fans show up at Melrose Arch to wish Proteas well

MELROSE ARCH - Crowds of people have gathered at Melrose Arch on 4 February to show their support for the Proteas.

Members of the public were invited to attend the send off event to wish the Proteas luck before they leave for the Cricket World Cup.

The Soweto Gospel choir entertained the crowd, while Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula welcomed the cricket team with lighthearted jokes in his speech.
