Alpoa to report back on imminent restitution

The Alexandra Land and Property Owners Association (Alpoa) will hold a general meeting of its members on 21 March.

The meeting, which will be a report back on the imminent government roll-out of restitution on land and property claims, will be held at the Roman Catholic Church School Hall on 2nd Avenue, Alexandra beginning at 9am.

Chairperson of the Alpoa Youth, Nhlanhla Tshabalala said among the issues to be discussed at the meeting would be the imminent government rollout of title deeds to certain properties, a memorandum of understanding to be signed with government, and the various restitution options proposed by government that are open to property owners. Tshabalala urged the youth of Alex to come forward and be part of the process.
