The second season of Your Perfect Sishebo show returns to your TV screens with a brand new presenter and comedian, Mpho Popps Modikoane.
Contestants will yet again be awarded an opportunity to showcase their cooking talents on screen, while they share their life stories through their ‘perfect sishebo’. Knorr Soup, Knorrox, as well as Rajah Spice have teamed up with SABC 1 to bring this tasty viewing treat to audiences.
The show also features a theme song written and produced by Mi Casa’s J’Something and it is performed by Brenda Mtambo, formerly of Joyous Celebration and now a respected artist in her own right.
Your Perfect Sishebo will air on 2 April with a panel of celebrity judges Sifiso Gwala from Durban and Mokgadi Itsweng from Randburg. The first episode on 2 April will introduce the Top 10 contestants who have been selected from thousands of entries from across South Africa.
Unilever brand manager for Perfect Sishebo, Nqobile Bhengu said besides the cash prize of R200 000 for the ultimate winner and vouchers of R50 000, the show has the ability to boost exposure for the small businesses being run by the various contestants on the show.
The Top 10 contestants reflect a wide range of cultures, personalities and cooking styles – the challenge for each of them will be to convince the judges not only that their sishebo is the best – but that they can rise to the various challenging tasks presented each week.
