Men nabbed for drug dealing
ALEXANDRA - Two Ethiopian nationals are in police custody for a case of drug dealing.
Two men are in police custody after being arrested for drug possession and trying to courier out boxes of drugs out of the country.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Manare Ramotshela said the men were arrested at the Pan African Plaza while waiting for a courier company to pick up the consignment for export to the United Kingdom.
Ramotshela said when the courier truck arrived, police approached the two men, after receiving a tip-off, who said the boxes contained clothes which turned out to be drugs.
The two men will remain in custody pending further investigations.
