ALEXANDRA - A man has been remanded in custody by the Alex Magistrate Court for case of illegally dealing in precious minerals.

Alexandra Police Station spokesperson, Warrant Officer Manare Ramotshela, said police on patrol arrested the man in June after he was found operating a shop dealing in gold and diamonds on 3rd Avenue, Alex.
Ramotshela said the man failed to produce a trading licence.
The case will be heard after investigations have been concluded.
