Miss Gauteng pageant to grace Alex
The annual pageant of Miss Gauteng will be gracing Alexandra on 5 September at East Bank Hall with an opportunity to compete at Miss Provincial up for grabs for the winners.

The pageant is a search for individuals with unique skills who wish to make a positive impact in their communities. The pageant has been running for three years in partnership with Rox-Roll Production.
The guest judge for the day will be Silindile Madlingozi, the daughter of South African music star Ringo Madlingozi.
According to the founder of the pageant, Mark Bernard, models from Soweto, Alexandra, Thokoza, Pretoria and Midrand will participate.
“We want to show people that there are a lot of good things in Alexandra, and we hope that this event can help bring change and hope in the community,” said Bernard.
