Ecomobility fest to host freedom ride, family day
SANDTON – In continued celebration of the ecomobility festival, the City of Johannesburg will host a Freedom Ride cycling event and Family Day event in Sandton on 11 October.
Both events will take place in Sandton, with the Freedom Ride beginning at the Gautrain station at 7am and the Family Day, which will include live music from Zahara and Maleh, taking place on West street from 9am.
The ecomobility festival is running until 31 October in Sandton and has seen parts of the Sandton central closed off to motorists and preference given to pedestrians, public transport and cyclists for the duration of the festival.
