Car wreck falls off truck
ALEXANDRA - An accident was averted through motorists’ sheer precaution while driving along Vincent Tshabalala Road recently.
Luckily no one was hurt when a car wreck fell off a carrier truck on Vincent Tshabalala Road on 12 October.
The incident occurred as the truck went up a steep incline towards 1st Street, Wynberg. Onlookers and motorists marvelled at the stationary wreck facing the opposite direction and blocking the left lane of the busy road.
The driver and crew appeared to be pondering how to get the wreck back onto the truck, and were possibly thinking of what to say if asked how the wreck ended being on the road where it no longer belonged.
That’s if it had already been written off.
