Line dancers showcase skills to residents
JOBURG - After a year of hard work and preparation, the Thea van Tongeren line dancers finally showcased their dancing skills in two special year-end concerts.
The dancers are residents of Rand Aid Association’s retirement village, Thornhill Manor. The group practised twice a week for a month leading up to the concerts, and by the time show day arrived, the concerts were smoothly entertaining.
This year, the ladies showed off their moves on 11 and 15 November, in a hall beautifully decorated by Thea van Tongeren, before enjoying refreshments with their fellow residents.
