St Mary’s turns 125

The days festivities began with the school celebrating the Patronal Eucharist.

A memorable service was held at which the Bishop of Johannesburg, the Right Reverend Steve Moreo, presided.

This was followed by a picnic at which the matric girls cooked eggs and bacon, the 125th birthday cake was cut and the schools well-loved, traditional war cry Oh When the Saints was sung.
