Electric Summer electrifies Joburg

JOBURG - Electric Summer came and went, and all that was left were rave reviews of the epic event on social media.

The much-anticipated music festival was initially scheduled to take place at the end of last year but was rescheduled for 30 January in order to accommodate a number of artists.

Zoo Lake Sports Club in Parkview made for the perfect setting for the music show.

Unfortunately the headlining act, international musician, Jess Glynne pulled out of the festival before the new date, however, fellow musical group, Clean Bandit, was still able to attend the show and brought the house down.

Radio station 5FM, the hosts of the event, brought out South African music heavyweights such as Goldfish, P.H. Fat, Al Bairre, Euphonik and Paul Bingham, among others, to join the international act.
