Preschool spreads kindness in Alex
ALEXANDRA – The Sydenham Hebrew Pre-Primary School recently took its Spreading Kindness in Elul (SKE) project to new heights by donating a generous amount of preschool supplies to Bonolo Daycare in Alex.
The donation, in collaboration with Feed South Africa, a non-profit organisation focused on establishing feeding programmes in townships; and respected philanthropist, Linda Twala, saw the Bonolo Day Care receive items on their wish list which included kiddies’ tables, chairs, kitchen supplies, utensils, toys and stationery.
The items were handed over to the centre, which has 36 children in its care, by staff members of the school.
The school expressed gratitude to parents and staff members for their generosity, which allowed the school to purchase and hand over the items.
